Our Story

We met in 2018 when we started grad school and quickly bonded over a shared passion for working with kids, trauma, and family systems. We both came into this work with backgrounds in domestic violence and even shared the same play therapy supervisor, which probably explains a lot about our similar therapy styles and values.

Since graduating, we’ve had the privilege of working side by side for the last four and a half years. We’re genuine friends and trusted collaborators, and that connection shows up in the way we work with each other and the families we support.

We often coordinate care for families with each other using a consistent approach. This might look like one of us seeing a child for play therapy while the other one works with a parent in their own individual therapy. Sometimes we see sets of siblings, and sometimes we even support other parts of a system together depending on what’s most useful.

Supportive relationships and community matter, especially when things feel heavy or uncertain. We’ve been lucky to have that in each other, and our goal is to offer that same kind of steady support to the clients and families we work with. We’re grateful every day that we get to do this work together.
